Who can appeal a disabled ad account?

Only someone with full control of the ad account or the business portfolio sees the Request review option. Employees, freelancers and agency staff with partial access usually see the notice but no button. If that is you, send the admin the ad account ID and your notes, and let them submit it.

Who sees the button

If you are not an admin

  1. Screenshot the notice you see and note the ad account ID.
  2. Send it to an admin of the business portfolio.
  3. Write the appeal text together, then the admin submits it from Account Quality.
  4. Ask the admin to forward any reply from Meta.

If there is no admin left

If the only admin has left or been banned, the appeal has to start with getting admin access back. That is a separate step from the policy appeal.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Can I appeal for my client from my own login?

Only if your login has full control on the client's ad account or portfolio.

Should the admin share their password with me?

No. Ask for the right role instead. Sharing logins can trigger more restrictions.

Who decides the appeal?

Meta makes the final decision.
