My business portfolio appeal was rejected. What happens to my ad accounts?

When the portfolio review is rejected, ad accounts owned by that portfolio usually stay unusable, and you cannot move them out. Ad accounts owned by another portfolio and only shared with yours are separate. Check each one, then save your data.

Do this now

  1. In Business settings, list every ad account and note which portfolio owns it.
  2. Ask owners of shared accounts to remove your portfolio's access if they need to.
  3. Export reports from every ad account you can still open.
  4. Download invoices from Billing and payments.
  5. Check whether your own profile is restricted too.

What to write

To a client or partner: "Our business portfolio was restricted and the review was rejected. Your ad account [ID] is owned by your portfolio, so you can remove our access and keep advertising."
