Appeal an ad account disabled after boosting a post

A boosted post is still an ad, and it is reviewed against the same standards. If the ad account was disabled after a boost, find the post, read the reason on the notice and appeal with a plain account of what the boost promoted.

Appeal steps

  1. Open the notice and request the review it offers.
  2. Name the boosted post and say what it promoted.
  3. State what you changed, such as removing the post or the link.
  4. Submit once and keep the date.

Wording

Short and factual. Example: the boost promoted our spring menu, the landing page is our own site, and we have removed the discount claim that was not accurate.

Official sources

Meta changes its help pages, menus and forms often. Follow the wording on your own screen and the current Help Center. Ad Account Unban is an independent service and is not affiliated with Meta.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Does deleting the post help?

Keep a copy first. Removing a problem is part of the explanation, not a way to hide it.

Should I appeal from the Page or the ad account?

From where the notice appears.

Can a boost cause a ban on its own?

Only if the ad broke a rule or other signals existed.
